Does the new Airport Extreme support USB connected hard drive for Time Machine? If so, does the HD have to be powered externally or will the AE provide power?

The USB port on older Airport Extremes (and Time Capsules) was underpowered, and often required a powered hub, even for large self-powered drives. It's not clear how much power the new one puts out, so give it a try, but don't be surprised if you need one.
