Problems with IMessage

I am having problems working with iMessage because someone overloaded a text to me with Emojis! So now whenever I try to open iMessage the app crashes...but sometimes I am able to get on iMessage but when I go to the conversation with the Emojis trying to tell him to delete the convo it won't load. Does anyone have a solution?
