But I believe it is, I mean, many ppl r running that game on their OS X. What going on?
There are versions of OS X, one is released about every 1-2 years.
The version there is 10.6 Snow Leopard, the last version of OS X that supported PPC processor based software, 10.6 had a compatability enviroment called Rosetta.
The later OS X versions of 10.7-10.8 and up are not longer supporting Rosetta and Grand Theft Auto decided to no longer release their game for the Mac/OS X platform.
This is a commong problem on Mac's and all I can suggest is you ask them to support us, but they likely will say the Mac doesn't sell enough machines to support the costs of making a version for us.
It's possible if GTA has support for OpenGL drivers, that it will run on Windows in BootCamp, which is basically booting the Mac into a seperate partition that has Windows installed.
Sorry your game doesn't work, perhaps you can return or exchange it, or sell it to a Windows user.
If you want to learn how to install Windows on your Mac you can do that if you can find a Windows 7 license, however I don't know how well it's going to run or any issues doing so.

In my opinon it's just best to get a Windows 7 3D gaming tower online and use that to play the game.
Mac's are not the ideal choice of 3D gamers like yourself, sorry. 😟
