Why is my iCloud storage at 4.8GB?! I have 0.8GB from Music, 1.2GB from Apps, and the rest from "Other." No one at Apple Store or Sprint store gave me correct advice. Most all my apps are OFF for backup. I don't get it. What is taking up so much space and how do I get rid of it? I've tried iTunes, iCloud.com, and going into Settings and Storage and all that. Please help.
How much email do you have in your icloud account?
I use my gmail and not iCloud for email. When I go into iCloud mail I just have the initial "Welcome to iCloud mail" email and that's it.
Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage
From there you can find how much and which files are in a backup, and how much different apps use to store data files. At the bottom of the screen is the size of the mail storage.
My mail is 54KB. That's not it. When I hook it up to iTunes I can see that I have 0.8GB in music, 1.2GB in apps and the other 2.8GB is in other. Trying to figure out what that other is and how I can clear it.
