I want to print to my Brother printer from my iPhone 5 but I do not have a wireless network. The printer says that I can configure a wireless network between the printer and moblie devise (iPhone) with out an access point. The instruction first ask if the iPhone supports "WiFi Direst"? Does the iPhone 5 support Wi-Fi Direct? If not, does it support WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)? If it support WPS does it support "one push configuration?

From what I can find, yes it does.
It uses a Broadcom chipset that supports wifi direct.
It may not be enabled yet but I believe airdrop in iOS 7 is wifi direct.
