Q: I received an email to join a photo stream, but once I click the link it says that I need to run OS X 10.8.2 with iPhoto 9.4 installed and I double checked to make sure I have them updated and I do. But I still can't view the photo stream

Check System Preferences>iCloud to be sure you have check Photo Stream, and click Options to be sure you have checked both My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams.
