Hello

I keep getting a message about my start up disk being full and it wont let me download our update my computer so i was thing that if i delete every thing off on my computer and start from the beging agian if that would help ?

If so...

1) how do i go about doing this starting new?

2) I have my computer backed up on my time machine (i would just want my itunes and photos off of it back on to my computer not all the other stuff) How would i do that ?

You don't need to go that far. Put content you don't need on the internal drive, such as the iTunes and iPhoto libraries, onto a second external drive and delete them from the internal one. Throw away files which you don't need at all.

Since you have your required data backed up, i guess you wouldnt mind getting a clean os restore. That will make your comp as good as new and you can restore your desired files from time machine.
