Hi Folks, on my MacBookPro, how do you create additional desktops?

Hi Folks, on my MacBookPro, how do you create additional desktops? I've gone to system preferences, tried to double click, tried double finger clicking and nothing comes up to create an additional desktop window. Thank you!

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

You have OS X Mountain Lion, so it's easy to create additional desktops. You just have to open Mission Control, app that you can open pressing its icon in the Dock or with a gesture that you can find in System Preferences > Trackpad.

Then, move your cursor to the top right of the display, so you will see a + button with a desktop. Press it and a desktop will be created. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4689?viewlocale=en_US
