Moving data to iphone 5 when using both itunes and icloud

Have an iphone 4S and considering upgrading to the 5. I use icloud to back up some things, but others I back up on itunes. Im wondering what the best/easiest way is to move al my data at one time. I performed the full backup of my phone onto my computer in itunes also...is this the best way to restore all my info to the 5. Im assuming the full backup includes settings and everything?

If I have noticed some bugs in my phone should I transfer the data this way, vs adding things one at a time? For example, landscape mode won't work with iMessages sometimes and I have to restart the phone. Just wondering if transferring everything, might cause this or other problems to continue to happen?
