My ipod touch won't sync to my itunes.

I bought a brand new ipod touch (5th gen), but it won't sync to my laptop, yet it will work on other computers. What do i do? 🙂

The laptop makes the usual nosie but then itunes doesn't load or recgonise my ipod.
