I am receiving messages on my emails telling me that a virus was attached

Is anyone else receiving emails telling them that a virus was attached but it was cleaned but you should advise the sender???

Not me but this type of email might be filtered by your ISPs Spam/Junk/Virus protection software. Not knowing your ISP or email provider that is just a assumption. It could be just plain old SPAM looking for you to reply to the sender. Then they, the SPAM people, would have your valid email address to continue to send you spam or infected emails.

The best thing you can do, Especially if you do not know the sender (or even if you do), is to delete that email. If by chance you do know the sender send them a separate email or call them on the phone and report it to them.
