Jun 22, 2013 7:43 AM in response to wanbatby King_Penguin,The credit card is linked to an account, not the device.
Changing account info : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1918
If his iPod is using your iTunes account then you could log out of the account on it by tapping on the id in Settings > Store, or you can hide the iTunes and App Store apps via Settings > General > Restrictions, and you can turn off in-app purchases via the Restrictions screen, which should stop things being bought.

Mar 10, 2014 12:03 PM in response to wanbatby jon.jonsson,I just had the same problem. I had to use my own creditcard for my son as I am not able to send a gift card, use pay pal or anything else because I live in Iceland. My son purchased a item for 1. dollar and I put my credit card info in. Then he tried to buy another one and managed it, So the ipod saves the credit card info without asking permission. Then to erase it on the ipod you have to go to "Appstore" then to "Apple-id" and then to "Payment information" and there you see that the info has been saved. Then switch to payment method "none" and then back to the "credit card" used before and it should be gone. Hope this helps.
