Q: Automate Ringer settings

My company requires me to turn the ringer and vibrate off at work. Sometimes after work I forget to turn the ringer back on. Is their anyway i can set the phone to automatically turn the ringer on after a number of hours or after a time of day? I have an iphone5 and ios6.  Thank you.

Hello PhilMP,

 

 

Thanks for the question. Depending on the use of your iPhone when you are required to keep it off, Do Not Disturb may be right for you. When Do Not Disturb is enabled, any alerts that occur (while the iPhone is locked) will be silenced. You can configure it to operate on a set schedule, and also configure it to allow calls from specified contacts.

Optional settings for Do Not Disturb:

 

- Scheduled: Automatically enable Do Not Disturb between the hours you specify.

- Allow Calls From: Allow calls from everyone, no one, your favorites, or specific contact groups stored on your device or your iCloud account.

- Repeated Calls: If someone calls you twice within three minutes, the call will not be silenced.
