I have the new MBA 13" and was able to resolve my wifi connection issue by going into system preferences then clicking on Network. Once the Network window opens select your wifi connection on the left hand side of the window. At the top of the Network window next to Location: there is a drop down that says Automatic. Click the drop down and select Edit Locations. Click the + to add a new location and name it (I called mine Home) and click Done. Click the Apply button in the lower right hand corner of the Network window and restart your computer. I also went to Panera Bread and tested it on their wifi and I am not having any issues. I tried connecting at Panera a couple days ago and could not stay connected. Hope this helps!

Any defective piece of hardware should be returned, Apple need to get some pressure to fix this, dont buy MBairs and return any defective ones until they fix it
Can anybody else confirm this......
Mine drops wi-fi a couple of times a day but the speed is very, very slow. Same even after software update recently.
So why do you keep a defective computer for which you payed much more than a equivalent, but functional, windows machine?
Any patches for this yet?
no. A month later. Still no patches. It's a cheap antenna. They won't fix it, it'd cost too much.
