My MacBook has the dreded blue screen at startup I cannot get passed it in safe mode either. I have also tried startup disk and command option p r keys any suggestions? Please help I have all my boyfriends pics on here who just passed away 2 months ago I don't wan
t to lose them.

Does it boot from the 10.6 Install Disc hold c key?
Tough without the Install disc, but some things to try...
Does it boot to Single User Mode, CMD+s keys at bootup, if so try...
/sbin/fsck -fy
Repeat until it shows no errors fixed.
(Space between fsck AND -fy important).
Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck...
OK it did boot to single mode it said file system modified but didn't say anything about any errors but when I restarted I'm back to the blue screen what should I do it did say is is was fine though

You mean you did it a second time & it didn't say file system modified, which indicates a full repair?
Do you have the Install Disc?
Yes I did do it twice and it say file system modified but when I rebooted I still got the blue scrreen
No install disc but I have a friend who has one tried it last night but I don't think they held c button down does that matter?

You have to repeat it until it no longer says that. 🙂
