Q: one finger click doesn't work

One finger click doesn't work. Hovering cursor over icons doesn't have any respones/zoom the icons/do anything at all.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013)

1. System Preferences > Trackpad > Point & Click

    Enable "Tap to click".

2. System Preferences > Dock

    Enable "Magnification".

If this does not help, reset PRAM and SMC.

Reset PRAM. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH4405

Reset SMC.     http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964

Choose the method for:
"Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
