I noticed that airport express Gen 1 & 2 has Printer support as listed on this website it does not mention what the generation 3 supports. Any response would be greatly appreciated as I am still able to return the product. Is there any other noticable differences between Gen 2 & 3?

An AirPort Express Gen 3 does not appear on Apple's website. The most recent AirPort Express, Model # A1392 was introduced in June 2012. It is a 2nd Generation version.

MC414LL/A is a 2nd Generation AirPort Express. The seller has made a mistake.

Apple has made no announcements about when and if a 3rd Gen product might appear.
