Minimum System Requirements
- 2GB of RAM (4GB recommended).
- Display with 1280-by-768 resolution or higher.
- OS X v10.6.8 or later.
- Minimum 6GB of disk space. (19GB of optional content available via in-app download).

As long as you have enough RAM on your computer, you can use this application on your Macbook Air.

I am running Logic Express 9.1.8 on a previous generation (2012) MacBook Air and find that it runs resonably well. In fact, it runs far better than it does on my mid-2011 Mac Mini. I am running several 'big' VST's like Superior Drummer and several VST's from Native Instruments. So far everything works well
