Command_R not working on Macbook Pro

Hello..

I verified my Mackintosh HD ¨Disk Utility¨ since my computer is running extremely slow, and it said disk needed to be repaired:

¨This disk needs to be repaired using the Recovery HD. Restart your computer, holding down the Command key and the R key until you see the Apple logo. When the OS X Utilities window appears, choose Disk Utility.¨

Here is the description from the Log button in Disk Utility:

Anyone knows how I can sort this out?

Why is my computer so slow?

I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2009)

Processor 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memory 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB

Software OS X 10.8.4

I hope this information will help you get a better idea what the problem could be...

Thank you all in advance.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Logout of your MBP and at the bottom of the screen where you see Sleep, Restart, Shutdown, click restart and then hold down the Command and R keys. After the computer restarts you will see a box with options, one of which is Disk Utilities. Click that and choose the internal hard drive from the left side panel, then start with Repair Permissions, then do Repair Disk. If repair disk returns any error message, repeat until it gives no errors found.

When you are finished, click the apple left side of the menu bar and choose Restart.
