I can paired my iPhone to my Mercedes bluetooth car phone and it works perfectly, but when I turn off the engine and restart my car ,I got to do the pairing again in order to get the connection.

My iPhone 5 can be connected to my car bluetooth phone after I paired it.,but when I switch off my

car engine, and restart the phone do not detect my car' s bluetooth and I have to re paired again in order to

be connected.

When I have earlier version of iPhone 4 ,I don't have this issue.Once I paired it ,every time I switch on the engine, the phone and car

Is paired and connect automatically .

But with my new iPhone 5 it does not .Can any one advise and help?

Thanks

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

Hi karma boon!

I have a couple of articles here that can help you troubleshoot this issue. First is a general assistance article regarding Bluetooth connections, and can be found here:
