Q: Help with Jam Packs
Is there a place to install Rosetta, as the problem "When installing Jampacks on Mac OS X v10.6, you may be repeatedly prompted to install Rosetta but the installation never completes. When this happens there may be multiple Software Update icons in the Dock" is occurring even though I have version Mac OSv 10.6.8?
Logic Express 9, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

If your Snow Leopard installation does not have Rosetta installed, generally two methods are available to you.
When attempting to open a PowerPC app, the system will notify you that Rosetta is not present and ask if you want to download it. If you are connected to the Internet AND if Apple's servers still offer Rosetta, it can be downloaded and installed automatically.
If that process does not work, boot from your Snow Leopard Install DVD and in the early stage of installation, when the OPTIONS/CUSTOMIZE button appears, select to install Rosetta (and IMHO Quicktime 7) and continue the installation and reboot your computer back to your hard drive.
Rosetta should now be available to you.
