Why my iDVD slideshow flickers twice in each slide?

Why my iDVD slideshow flickers twice in each slide? Is it because my photos to large or they are not in the right format?

When the jpeg photos opened in Photoshop, the specs are RGB, 8 bits/channel, resolution 72 pixels/inch, average about 7million to 12 million pixels in size (2MB to 6MB), about 65 slides in the show.

If so, how do I prepare my photos for the iDVD slideshow?

Thank you.

This document describes how to prepare photos for iDVD slideshows: iDVD '09 (7.x): Preparing images for iDVD slideshows

Follow this workflow to help ensure the best quality video DVD:

Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.

To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.

Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
