my ipod plugs into the charger but wont charge up

Well, my iPod will plug into the charger and stay plugged in but, it will not charge up! It will stay the same battery and I don't know what to do! help!

- Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.

- Try another charging source

- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

The appointment is free. If the iPod is damaged

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 for 64 GB one and $99 for the others. They do not fix yours.

A third-party place like the following will replace the dock connectofor less. Google for more.
