Why has my HP started going offline?

My HP C7250 was working fine until I updated to OSX 10.8.4. Why is my printer going offline constantly?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

How is the printer connecting to the Mac? USB, Ethernet or WiFi?
