I recently had my Mac OS X serviced and they took everything off of it and put it on a remote hard drive. I can't figure out how to install it back onto my Mac. I tried dragging and dropping. Didn't work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! Lenore

With iPhoto, are you referring to the app or to your iPhoto library? If you are referring to the app, disconnect your external drive, open the App Store, go to Purchases tab and download the most recent iPhoto version free of charge
Or if it's the library you're relocating: iPhoto: How to move the Library folder to a new location (HT1229)
Simply drag the iPhoto library to the pictures foldr on yoru mac and then launch iPhoto - it should open the library
