Audio Troubleshoot

I am currently in desperate need help with final cut pro x.

Well, it's because I recorded a video and i totally forgot to turn the mic on so the video is silent.

But I can see that there's audio when I uploaded it to final cut pro x cos of the audio meter is transparently visible.

So, is there any chance to retrieve that audio?

As you can see below is a screenshot of how the file looks like.

PLease please please help me!

What do you see in the clip's channel configurations in the audio inspector?

Your two sentences seem to be contradictory. Is there audio or not? Does the video play with audio in Quicktime Player, for example, or in the event browser inside FCP X?

it says stereo.. but when i expand the audio components and click on the audio clip itself it says audio channels configuration is unavailable for selected clips ><

when i play the video there's no audio but i was wondering how come in final cut pro x it seems like there's a possibility that the audio might be there.. like there's a transparent audio meter on the clip.

You're talking about the reference waveform. It's probably seeing audio recorded at a level below hearing if the meters aren't moving. If they aren't there's effectively nothing there.

Look at the channel configuration in the browser not the project. Select the video portion not the audio of the expanded clip in the timeline.
