Just bought a USED MBP to replace one that had died. In order to not mess up the software installed the seller recommended that I just change the name of the account to my own. But I want to bring over my mail, and a few other files. What is the best way to do that? I've had bad luck with the migration app in the past unless it is a new clean drive. All my files are either on my Mac PRO or on a backup of the laptop. Would a new account be better or kepping the old account?
