Mobile Account Sync Issues

I am testing converting a network account to a mobile account so the user can take advantage of versions and documents in iCloud, neither of which seem to work with network accounts, however I seem to be hitting sync problems and can't find much in the way of documentation on this.

I have setup the Mobile Account Settings to sync their Home fiolder Automatically, at Logoff and at Logon (covering all the bases to start with!), but during the day there are a continual stream of sync errors for files like this:

Mobile Accounts.pages-tef

<randomlettersnumbers>.pkpass

It feels like this setup should basically give me everything I need but the synx errors are a pain, anyone know where I can look for better information on this, or have some suggestions? This is Mac OS X10.8.4 on client and server, and OS X Server 2.2.1.
