iPhone 4S battery only charges via MacBook

A while ago I've updated my iPhone 4S to IOS 6.1.3 Eversince the phone doesn't charge via my wall socket charger or car charger and I can only (and luckily still) charge via my MacBook. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem?

my iphone 4S suddenly drained whilst charging, now it says 1% battery but can last all day, if I do a restart, it won't reboot, just displays the need to charge battery icon and flash. So now its about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
