Powerbook G4 Stalls at Spinning Apple Gear

Hey guys,

My Powerbook Late 2004 12" is having some problems. The other day it was slow, and now it wont go into mac OS 10.5.8 at all. When i turn it on, it has the apple logo and then it has the spinning gear. Ive left it for 10 minutes and its still at the gear. It doesnt freeze, it just goes on forever. Any kind of help would be appriciated, as i want to sell this soon.
