Q: changing the apple id on my iPhone?

I currently have an iphone which is hooked up to my mom's apple id. I now have a macbook pro and want to set up my own apple id. how can i change the apple id on my iphone to my new id without losing anything on my phone?

Hey bettbuhman00,

You'll want to follow these directions to change from your mom's Apple ID to your own:

Changing your Apple ID account
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in.
Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID.
