My music on my iPhone 4s won't play.

My music on my iPhone 4s won't play. I have never had any problems with it before, but nothing has played since I updated my Apple ID. All my music is there, on my iPhone as well as in iTunes, but the songs just keep skipping over, and over, and over and none of them will play. Can anyone offer any help, please?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3

Additionally:

Other issues with iPod play

If an item plays fine in iTunes but doesn't play (or is skipped over) on your iPod, see Troubleshooting songs that skip on iPod.

If you can't copy an item to your iPod that plays fine in iTunes, seeSome songs in iTunes won't copy to iPod for more information.
