Can I donate my old iPod touch to apple?

for a discount or just donate beacause i no longer need them.


I have a first and a second gen.

Windows xp, Mac OS 9.2.x

Really? But thats not fair.


Bring 1 iPod in for recycling, you get 10% off.


Bring 2 iPods in for recycling, you also get 10% off.



OK @waterbear, you get only 10% off a new one.

If you are in the US, amazon and best buy will buy back electronics (or in the case of best buy, recycle them if they're not worth anything)


Another option to consider. Both places give you store credit (I just sold back my 4th gen touch for $70 credit towards my 5th gen touch at best buy...amazon would have given me more but I didn't want to go without my device for the couple of weeks it would have taken)

OK; sure it's nice that Apple will give you 10%. They don't have to. But they do, and thats the reason they should give you 20% if you bring two in. But i think i know why they won't do this deal. Because then someone would bring in 10 iPods... and you know.. 100% off. That's kinda stupid.
