My power mac g5 wil not boot up to the grey screen. I comes on and fans start runing but itevers boot up... fans by the processor runs continuouisly but the fan located under the cd/dvd drive starts and stops... need help....

See if holding alt key at bootup shows any boot choices?
Do you have an Install Disc for that Mac to try to boot holding c key?
Also try a PMU reset. The symptoms sound like a possible sensor issue but as mentioned it's a tough one, needs to be narrowed down.
