Q: Problem receiving calls

I have problem receiving calls on my iphone 4s. Incoming call does not ring, but shows as missed call. Person making call gets busy signal. However if they call straight back, or within a minute or so, phone rings, no problem. Not sure if this is a phone or carrier prob. Any ideas??

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3

Try your sim card in some other phone, atleast you would have a clear picture then.

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately i don't have another phone that takes a mini sim. But went to see my local carrier, and they changed the Sim card Free, so if it still does it, I will know it's the phone.

Thanks very much, yes Do not disturb was turned on, and that was obviously stoping the first call coming through, but allowing a second one from the same number within the time window of 3 minutes. Happened by mistake , but I shall make sure I don't do that again!!!
