Q: why won't my phone pair with my pc?

I'm trying to pair my iphone5 with my pc and I keep getting a message that says device driver cant be found. What do I need to do?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

    As in plug in to sync?

     

    Is your iTunes up to date? If you have an iPhone 5 then I think you need iTUnes 11 for it to work right.

    Bluetooth?

     

    This has nevere been a feature of iphone/ipod/ipad

     

    It supports stereo speakers/headsets, handsfree telephone devices, some keyboards, some apps from the pp store, and internet tethering where provided by the carrier

     

    Other than above, it does not connect to other phones or computers.
