my PC do not see content of folder DCIM in ipod touch

According help file HT40183, when I connect my ipod touch to my PC (Win 7), I should see internal storage\DCIM\100APPLE. I only see folder DCIM and it shows 0 files. I should have about 40 pictures in my ipod touch. Did I mss anything? Please help.

- I would try connecting to another computer to help determine if you have an iPod or iTunes problem, Do NOT sync with that computer.

- If seen on other computer then I would

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP

or

Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

If some problem with other computer I would email the photos to your computer (as insurance) and then restore the iPod from backup.
