Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
According help file HT40183, when I connect my ipod touch to my PC (Win 7), I should see internal storage\DCIM\100APPLE. I only see folder DCIM and it shows 0 files. I should have about 40 pictures in my ipod touch. Did I mss anything? Please help.

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.3
The DCIM folder only hold those photos/videos that are in the iPod's Camera Roll album, not those synced to the iPod.
Where are those 40 photos?
The Photos are in the Camera Roll album. They are taken using my tpod touch build in camera. So far I can only email some of them back to me. Need to connect to my computer to transfer all of them.
- I would try connecting to another computer to help determine if you have an iPod or iTunes problem, Do NOT sync with that computer.

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
If some problem with other computer I would email the photos to your computer (as insurance) and then restore the iPod from backup.
Since photo cannot be sync with itunes, according to instruction, I need to use windows explorer to go to the DCIM folder. Therefore I have connected to a PC without itunes so my other files will not be affected.
However, I will try to connect another computer to see if there is any difference.
