my wireless devices won't connect to my time capsule network.

I recently switched to comcast and have an Arris TM822 cable modem. the wireless network was working fine with my AT&T equipment, but now it doesn't. All lights are green on the devices and my iphone picks up the network name, but it will not connect to the network to allow using the wifi signal instead of 4G or LTE signals. The connections are in the following order: internet cable to Arris modem to Time Capsule to iMac. The computer has an internet connection and shows the wifi signal. I've tried all of the reset options, but maybe I need to switch some of the settings? And, of course, Apple won't walk me through it again like they did before unless I pay. HELP!!

When you change services.. you need to do a full factory reset of the TC and do the setup again.

So power off the TC..

Hold in reset button.

Power on the TC without releasing reset.

Keep holding in reset for 10sec or so until the front LED flashes rapidly.

Now redo the setup of the TC.

I recommend you change the name, use short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric for everything.. TC name and wireless and wireless password.. although that can be longer.. 20 characters is plenty for most people unless you are paranoid.

Power cycle the Arris modem.

Start up the TC.

After a setup it will be in router mode.. I believe this is correct. This modem has no router function.
