Q: Why doesn't my WiFi network show up on my MacBook Pro even though my iPhone and iPad have no problems with the network?
So I am currently visiting some family out of town and I'm having a strange connectivity problem. My iPhone and iPad are able to connect to the wireless network just fine, but for some reason, the network doesn't even show up in the list of available networks on my MacBook Pro (the machine has no problem connecting to other networks, just this one). I am running the latest and fully updated version of Lion on a mid-2010 MacBook Pro and I'm connecting through a TP-Link 150 Mbps N ADSL2+ Modem Router.
Has anyone experienced this problem before or have any ideas on how to fix it? I have a lot of work to get done and as great as my iPad is, it's just not as powerful or efficient as my MBP! Grateful for any help or suggestions!
MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
