Is there a default pass code or PIN when connecting the iPhone to bluetooth? I don't use a pass code, but I'm trying to sync with my car and it is asking for one.

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3

Yes, usually when pairing a BT device, you need some default PIN. It should be in your car's owners manual (and may be as simple as something like 0000, but just check the manual to be sure).
