moving music with home share
I have home sharing working with my ipad/iphone, how do i move my favorite tunes to my ipad/iphone?
ipad 3-OTHER, iOS 6.1.4, ipad and iphone

You have to sync music to the iPad with iTunes. Home sharing will not copy music to your iPad from your computer. That only works from computer to computer. All that you can do with home sharing on the iPad is listen to music in your computers iTunes library and watch movies and videos in the computer's library.
Syncing with iTunes is the conduit with which you transfer media to your iPad.
