Transferring Thunderbird contacts

Hi,

I am currently going to buy an new 27" iMac to replace my old 24" iMac. I currently use Thunderbird for my email on my iMac 24" My question is how do I transfer My Thunderbird Contacts & My Folder and their contents from the old iMac to the new iMac? Also any other suggestions about moving other data from my old iMac to my new iMac would be greatly appreciated. I do not want to loose my music (I use iTunes), my documents (I use MS Word for Mac), my photots (I use iPhoto), my bookmarks (I use Safari) etc.
