Q: Can I suscribe to iTunes Match with extra credit of itunes gift card?

Hello.

I have some extra credit on my itunes account and I would like to use it with a suscription on itunes match.

I tried to do it but it wont accept the option, only US credit card.

Does anybody had the same problem?

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1

Because it is an Annual Subscription service, it will require a credit card. There is no guarantee that your account would have the required funds in a year.

You can use the store credit, but you must also have a permanent form of payment on record.

You may use store credit to pay for your iTunes Match subscription; however, you must have a valid payment method on file at the time of sign up.
