Q: which is the best video converter for FCP 7 ?

Dear All, I need helps on finding the most compatible video converter for my Final Cut 7.0.3, any suggestions?

    This is the FCP X forum. You will likely get more response for your questions in the Final Cut Studio forum.

     

    Anyway, for most video conversions, you may try MPEG Streamclip. It is free and should have a place in any mac that is used for video...

    Just to add to Luis' sugestion to look at Streamclip (an excellent app)…

     

    Too often people pay for converters that are not necessary. With the correct manufacturer plug-in, FCP can work with nearly all formats using Log & Transfer.

    Final Cut supports: MOV, DV, MPEG-4, H.264, 3GP videos.

    Change your video files to the above video format, then you can import them to Final Cut.

    And there are lots of video converters you can choose to help you do it.

    Formatfactory and handbrake are free.

    Enolsoft video converter for mac is a good choice too.

    Aneesoft video converter for mac has good quality. It has free version.
