restore from DVD

How can I restore a prior music library from a DVD (about 75% redundancy) to my MacBook Pro 13" (2009)? I also have Time Machine/Capsule: I lost all of my files prior to May 25, 2013, but managed to restore most of my files from ITunes purchased.
