Compilation tracks appearing under Artist names on itunes 11

I have a problem that when under artist view on itunes 11 for the mac, for some artists, seperate compilation tracks appear in the individual artist name, The following screen shot perhaps indicates better what the problem is I am having:

I have listed the compilation albums as an empty album artist, have selected it to be a compilation and have cleared all irrelevant sort boxes that could influence the outcome. This is how the information unfolds for one particular compilation track

If anyone can help me get rid of these annoying compilation tracks would be much appreciated.

I know you have said that it part of a compilation has been checked, but have you tried to select all the songs the get to the option to part of a compilation. iTunes may have not seeing them together as a compilation.

Why aren't songs with the same album art grouped together?

Hi,

If you wish this track to appear with all the other tracks from the same compilation, you should show something like "Various Artists" in album artist field. This will mean that the the track will no longer be listed with the rest of this artists music but under Various Artist.
