EASY WAY?? YEAH RIGHT!!!

I am using I-movie 11 and am attempting to put a picture in picture into slide... they are both timed out the same at 34.9 seconds... this was due to the ghost effect in the picture in picture frame I am attempting to put into main slide...I need it to start at the same time the main slide comes up but am VERY FRUSTRATED that it is a crap shoot as to wether I can get it to start at clip head... is there any easy way to other than dragging the picture in picture to clip head of main slide to reposition it at clip head .... The pic in pic part is .mov or i have .mp4 of it as well ... neither move any easier than the other.
