I created and saved a custom, text only, stationery (i.e. no images, etc.). I can see it when I click Custom in the stationery list. But double clicking on the stationery does nothing. I've deleted and retried several times, to no avail. Help!

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2013), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4), 8 GB RAM

This is a bug that as far as I can tell is still present in 10.8.5 and has been around for awhile.

    Here's what to do:

    1. Open Mail. File> New Message
    2. Immediately set your Signature to [None] (Yes, your Signature)
    3. Now, click the Templates button
    4. Scroll to the bottom and select [Custom]
    5. Choose one of your custom templates (It will work now)

Now that you have found this workaround, PLEASE

    go to https://ssl.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html

    and report this bug.

Apple will probably not respond to these posts. Make an official report!

Be sure to select: Feedback Type: Bug Report

    Feedback Area: Mail

    Thanks
