Q: buying a used macbook

hi,

I have recently been giving my husbands old macbook as he has been getting a new one. I am very new to Mac books. How do i get it to recoginse that i am its owner now and not my husband. How do i assign my Itunes account to this macbook so i can use it together with my Iphone.

I am very confused lol.... My husband doesnt know much about it either. We have created a new user etc but it still comes up with his Itunes account and not mine. How do i fix this.

Please help..

Thanx

    Hello there, LisaChicks.

The following Knowledge Base article should help you with the logging into your own iTunes account:

iTunes 11 for Mac: Manage your iTunes Store account

    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12299

    Specifically:

Sign in to or out of the iTunes Store

After you set up an Apple ID account (or if you’re using an existing AOL account instead), you can sign in to theiTunes Store to buy music and video, view or change your account information, and see your purchase history.

When you finish using the store, you can sign out to prevent anyone else who has access to your computer from making purchases using your account.

Choose Store > Sign In (or Sign Out).

You can also sign in to your account by clicking Sign In at the top of the iTunes Store window:

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

    Cheers,
