Question deleting photo's. "Some ... are included in other albums."

Hello,

I have a library with several hundreds of photo's.

Now that I have made, ordered and in the meanwhile received, my photobook with the nicest photo's, I'm cleaning up the photo library.

When deleting photo's (I delete them one by one), Aperture often (not allways) display's a window with the message:

Are you sure you want to move the selection to the trash?

Some versions based on these original files are included in other albums.

These versions will be removed from all Albums, Books, Light Tables, Web Pages, Web Journals, Slideshows, Flickr Albums, and Facebook Albums.

I have no albums in my Library (only folders holding the projects and of course my photo book).

My questions:

1. Why does Aperture displays this message?

2. Can Aperture tell me where (in which Album) the photo is used?

Kind regards,

Hello Frank,

thanks for the answer.

Regarding my first question:

I've checked a photo for which Aperture displays this message when I try to delete it.

It has filename 'DSC_9049'.

When I open my photo book and display all used pictures, I see that 'DSC_9049' is not used in my photo book.

And I also haven't dragged 'DSC_9049' to my photo book.

This it isn't sitting there unused.

So it still isn't clear to me why Aperture displays the message.

Question 2: understood.

Kind regards,
